Electro-Psychedelic Art Defined
| A unique combination of Mechanics and
Art using fluorescent spray paint of various colors to form a beautiful Sunburst effect.
Each poster is individually painted by hand on a vertically spinning machine at a high
RPM. The posters when viewed under a blacklight are intensely colorful. The process is
patented and the posters are copyrighted.

| Synthetic Trips was founded on May 10th. 1967. Original store was located at
4734 University Ave. San Diego, California 92105, in 1985 I purchased the property
directly across the street at 4727 University Ave. where it is now located. In the very
beginning I manufactured a series of posters I call "Sunbursts", only four are
shown although there were twelve painted and printed. I sold them to other distributors in
quantity and wholesaled them to other retail outlets as well as at Synthetic Trips. Our latest thing is "The XtraHand" a device made for CD's or DVD's so you don't have to lay it on the floor or other places while you find the original container which may be buried under papers or somewhere out of site. Once you have tried the "XtraHand" you will wonder why you didn't have one a long time ago. |
